Dazzling Danbo

It's been a while since I update my blog. Please. Forgive me. >_<. I am in the holiday, but lazy to post for my lovely blog. Soo.. here it is.. I have some photos of my sister's DIY Danbo, that has been edited with photoshop.The photos are taken and edited in 2011. But, I left it in the folder named "editan". The first two photos, The face of Danbo, is a little emmm.. damaged. I don't know why, it suddenly turns out like that. But you're still dazzling, Danbo!

So, I join quotography for May's  best shot. And I have a wonderful time in May, besides having final examination, I also get to go to Kelud Mountain. I go there with my family along with group from the church, so, we have pilgrimage in Puhsarang then we continued to have a trip in Kelud mountain :)

And this is my best shot of the month, that is Kelud Mountain photo :)

Natsumi Hayashi : The Levitation Blogger

Hmm.. so, I got a long holiday and I'm lazy to post some pictures, so I decided to tell you about this awesome blogger! Her name is Natsumi Hayashi. A Japanese of course. She owned a wonderful blog named yowayowacamera.com. What is special about her and her blog, is that she uploaded her picture, levitation picture, in which, she jumped up in the air, and the camera freeze her jump creating her in a floating state in results. She started her blog in January 2011 and gained huge response from people not just in Asia, but also America, Scandinavia, Russia, and Middle East.

Her blog also spark a phenomenomn of levitation photography in Asia. She appeared in the famous newspaper and magazines, like the New York Times and Wall Street Journals. Hayashi said that people influenced by daily stress is just like everybody under the control of Gravity. She hope that the viewers can feel a relief or emancipation from the stress after seeing her self portraits.

She uses Canon 5D Mark II, her tools of trade and jumped about 300 times to get a perfect result. Wow.. She should be get tired or something, but she didn't, at least I think so, because she keep posting her pictures everyday. But, I don't know why her latest posting was on 10th June 2011, Why isn't she uploaded some awesome sky high jump? (let me name this jump :) ). But, that's not a big problem, she already made a great work. And I hope she will add some new pictures :D.

What I love about her photograph is that, she has one topic, that is levitation, yet her pictures aren't boring. She arrange the composition, like lines, shape, curves. And also the point of view, sometimes the whole body, sometimes just a portrait of her foot on shoes doing the jump, and also some silhouette. In short, I love her creativity in making beautiful and awesome pics!

A Walk in Singapore Botanic Garden

Hi guys, today I want to share about my last trip at Singapore. Actually, it's not a full trip, because I also went to the hospital with my mother and aunt, to meet some doctors there. But, we have a wonderful time there, since Singapore is a country with such a beautiful and well-organized road and transportation. I went everywhere there by bus and even though we have a long walk each day, and made our feet broke (as an Indonesian, I really never have to walk that much). Anyway these are my photos from a walk in Singapore Botanic Garden.. A beautiful garden next to Gleneagles Hospital. When I went there, I see people using this place as the running track and children outing programme. Aaanndd, I could use my new 70-300mm tamron lens in some of macro pictures below, mostly flowers picture.  then, I found this gorgeous goose in  a small pond, actually it's 2 geese, but I only got one goose in each shot. all the goose picture are  taken with tamron lens, because of the great distances

I'm really happy like crazy when I could capture the swan while it swing its wing :D, but it's kinda blury

If you want to go inside SGB, you don't have to pay, in other words it's for free. But if you want to go inside the attractions like national orchid garden, you have to pay about 5 SGD for adult above 12 years. But, what I love about this garden is you can find many beautiful flowers like these:

I don't get to every garden of this place like evolution garden, etc. but only inside the national orchid garden. Perhaps, someday I'll go there again and visit the place I don't visit yet

Doll Photoshoot

It's May already! And I guess I haven't post for a month! Lazy me. hahaha... So for redeem my lateness in blog posting, Here is doll photoshoot. Actually she is a key chain, but since it is quite big and cute, let's just call it a doll.

For the first 3 images, I use natural light as the sun was shining brightly (it's around 2 or 3 p.m.) in my study room. Then the rest use an artificial light that is the lamp in my sister desk. Then I pick papers and pin it on a board as the white-background. I made, sort of, mini-studio. :D

How's the doll photoshoot? She sure is cute and adorable, yes? That's all I've got. Next week, I think I gonna post some photos about my trip to Singapore. Stay tuned... :D
